Are there any custom and/or import duties added to the purchase?
No additional fees or taxes are applied for orders within the EU and USA. For other countries, customs and/or import duties are often applied once the delivery reaches its destination, and any of such fees must be paid by the addressee. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot foresee what the relating costs might be as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. If in doubt, we recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing an order. You can also email us and we will do our best to help!
We accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal.
How long will it take to get my order?
The majority of orders are processed and shipped within 2-5 business days. Please note that during holiday season shipping takes longer than usual, our current estimate is 3 to 7 business days. Check individual product status and processing time on the product page. Once the order is ready, it will be immediately shipped to your destination. What is stone-washed linen?
Stone-wash is a modern and safe technology to soften the linen material which is naturally, quite hard.
Will the colors of my linens match?
Linen is a natural fibre and as such there can be natural characteristics to the linen. The color of natural linen depends heavily on its growing conditions. Colors can vary slightly between different seasons and dyeing batches. If you need a matching set, we recommend ordering everything in one purchase.
Is linen eco-friendly?
The short answer is yes, linen is eco-friendly! It is a natural fiber derived from the flax plant, which doesn't need pesticides to grow and requires 60% less water than cotton. Every part of the flax plant is used to produce various products, from linen fabrics to linenseed oil. Besides, linen can be recycled and is naturally biodegradable, which puts it high on the eco-friendliness chart.
All MagicLinen products are made from OEKO-TEX certified linen. The certification ensures the human-ecological safety of textile products in all stages of production (raw materials and fibers, yarns, fabrics, end products). Products that are OEKO-TEX certified are absent of allergenic dyes, pesticides, heavy metals and other harmful substances. The certification is voluntary and must be updated annually.
Can you make custom sizes?
We do offer custom sizes for bedding, tablecloths, table runners, and curtains. We do not customize our clothing. To request a custom size, please email us at [email protected] and we’ll calculate the price, production and delivery times for you.
Yes! We have home textile sample swatches available for our home linen collection. The linen swatches will include all of our latest colors. Order fabric samples here.
Caring for linen is simple: you can both hand wash and machine wash linen items at low temperatures. Linen can be tumble dried on low heat. We don’t recommend using bleach or detergent with optical brighteners as they tend to weaken the fibers. For more details on linen care, read our Linen Care Guide.

Yes, linen is thicker and about 30% stronger than cotton. The reason is because the flax plant, from which linen is derived, produces much longer fibers than the cotton plant. Fiber length contributes directly to yarn strength, which influences the strength and durability of the fabric. To learn more about the differences between linen and cotton, read our blog post.
Wrinkles are a natural part of linen fabric, regardless of the garment. They actually signify the quality of linen: more wrinkles means the linen is pure, less wrinkles means it might've been mixed with cotton. This is because the flax fibers are low in elasticity preventing linen from stretching, but also giving it a crumpled, lived-in texture.
When it comes to reducing wrinkles, ironing is one way to go. However, it will hardly give you the smooth result you are looking for and it may weaken the fiber over time. If you do decide to iron your linens, do it while they are a little damp and use a quality steamer. Also, make sure you split the difference between natural linen wrinkles and folding lines: the latter can be removed while the former are a natural part of the linen fabric and texture.
